Full Job Description

  • Independently undertake testing of code to deliver products in Embedded Finance that are fit for purpose and meet the quality standards that our customers expect.
  • Using a variety of techniques to plan then design and execute test cases across one or more types of testing.
  • Understand the importance of testing and the Quality Framework within LBG and advocates these to other change disciplines.
  • Leverage the test automation framework and coding standards deployed withing the team.
  • Work in a cross-disciplinary team and participate in improvement working groups.

    Demonstrable strong Quality Engineering background, including automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Automation-first approach, with a passion for driving quality for the end customer and a focus on reducing risk.
  • Experience with cloud environment (e.g. GCP) and testing infrastructure.
  • Experience in Quality Engineering teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and live systems at scale.
  • And any experience of these would be really useful
  • Familiarity with Embedded Finance or financial services applications.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with non-functional testing on live systems at scale.
