Full Job Description

  • Work closely with the Service Manager and Deputy Service Manager providing governance, leadership and direction across the service.
  • Design and deliver staff workshops and training sessions specific to these areas of identified need and ongoing service delivery development.
  • Lead on the development and presentation of service performance data and information.
  • Provide line management, supervision and leadership, where appropriate.
  • Lead on the CGL death in service review process.
  • Work closely with the management team to align the Quality Management System, Incident Reporting Tool, Risk Register and the Audit Tool within the same database.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen within our St. Helens Integrated Recovery Service for a Quality, Governance, Audit and Performance Lead to join us on a 6 month internal secondment.
  • We are looking for a motivated and highly organised individual, with knowledge of the substance misuse, criminal justice or wider health and social care sectors to lead on service quality assurance, and governance. You will contribute to the service to ensure that our service users consistently receive high quality services that adhere to the best practice guidelines and achieve high professional standards. In addition you will support coaching staff through devising and delivering training and workshop sessions, and addressing issues of quality and the promotion high standards of case management. The role will focus on quality of both clinical and psychosocial elements of case management along with the quality and effectiveness of Recovery focused interventions, referrals and care inclusive of assertive linkage to mutual aid networks. The post holder will be responsible for contributing to the overall performance of the service to ensure that contractual output targets are achieved.,
  • Experience of delivery systems management in health and social care.
  • Experience of working with drug and alcohol issues and a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services.
  • Understanding of CQC Essential Standards.
  • Experience of devising and delivering training sessions / workshops.
  • Show a capacity to work alone and the ability to keep calm under pressure, whilst meeting demanding targets and deadlines.
