Full Job Description

The Quality, Safety and Improvement (QSI) Team within Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB) covers all aspects of quality management, including quality improvement (QI), quality control, quality assurance and quality planning. The team is looking to recruit a registered health professional to a new and exciting Quality Improvement Clinical Educator role within the Quality Improvement part of the team. The individual must be interested in working in a diverse and high-profile arena. In return we can offer an opportunity to work with partners across the organisation, within a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team and to gain experience and knowledge in all aspects of quality management., The post holder will take responsibility for coordinating the delivery and development of the SBUHB QI training programme. In order to support the professional development of all staff and enable them to continuously improve patient care using QI methodology and in line with evidence based best practice. This will entail regularly delivering QI courses including the current Fundamentals of Improvement and Improvement in Practice and provide coaching to staff to support them in developing QI capability to deliver improvements in their work areas.
