Full Job Description

Reporting to the Site Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Development: Craft and implement a 5-10 year Quality strategy.

  • Team Leadership: Guide the quality team, ensuring standards and legal obligations are met.

  • Operational Compliance: Ensure company-wide compliance with quality standards, conduct audits (BRC and ISO 9001), and deliver staff training.

    What You Will Do

  • Resolve customer quality issues with effective corrective actions

  • Manage compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and BRCCPV4 standards

  • Ensure management systems meet customer quality standards

  • Set up and maintain quality metrics, gather data, and monitor performance

  • Provide quality process training to staff

  • Benchmark internal systems to stimulate development

  • Handle customer and consumer complaints per Global Hygiene Supplier Standards

  • Ensure legal compliance with stated standards

  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop new products and quality specifications

  • Improve manufacturing process variability and capability

  • Play a key role in the UK Quality Network
