Full Job Description

  • Lead on the adherence to the company s quality management systems and processes, promoting a right first time culture to minimise delays, re-work and re-visits
  • Conduct regular site inspections of our developments at key stages of the build programme
  • Perform pre-occupation inspections to ensure that the plots are at a high quality prior to the handover to our customers
  • Collaborate with the site management team to ensure that any identified remedial works are implemented and schedule in re-inspections as required
  • Provide regular and structured feedback to Construction Director to discuss and manage any quality issues
  • Support the site management team on mitigating recurring quality issues and ensuring best practice is followed
  • Produce monthly reports for each development for inclusion in the Board papers
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations and best practices.

    Proven experience working for a residential house builder in a similar level role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NHBC standards and regulations, with proven application in quality inspections
  • Demonstrable understanding and application of health and safety best practice and legislation
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings
  • Meticulous eye for detail
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and driving excellence.
