Quality Manager

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Quality Manager to lead and develop our Quality Function, to include planning, and monitoring quality efficiencies and developing a team at our primary PVCu manufacturing site in Somercotes, Alfreton. WHAT OUR GROUP QUALITY MANAGERS DO:

• Lead, co-ordinate and manage the manufacturing Quality function
• Oversee and develop business Quality strategies delivering monthly KPIs, SLA and objectives
• Ensure policies, standards and procedures are developed and implemented across the Quality function
• Manage and develop communication within our production teams to aid the delivery of the Quality activity
• Resolve technical problems, and monitor progress
• Manage Quality accreditations, third party and customer audits
• Visit customers (to include occasional overseas travel, as required)
• Develop and oversee plans and performance to align with annual budgets and agreed costs
  
  Previous experience of leading a Quality Function within a high volume production/manufacturing environment
• Experience of QMS management audits and accreditation
• Excellent time keeping and organisational skills
• Able to deploy continuous improvement tools and techniques
• Confident in communication and delivering objectives, training, and coaching
• Excellent problem solving skills, and ability to prioritise and manage to a high work load
• Degree qualified, within an engineering background
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Full UK Driving licence
