We have a fantastic opportunity within our growing Development team for a Housing Development Quality Manager to cover our New Homes projects in the Midlands. This will include areas such as Nottingham, Birmingham, Leicester and Coventry.

You will be part of an amazing team, working to make Platform Housing Group a truly modern housing association. You will lead reviews of completed properties, compiling a snagging list to ensure zero defects on completion. You will be a key influencer and relationship builder with our external contractors and partners ensuring compliance and performance are met on site developments.

  • Proven experience of inspecting construction in residential new build and refurbishment works.

  • You would ideally hold a relevant construction related qualification, such as MCIOB, MRICS and/or MCABE.

  • Inspection of work in progress to monitor quality standards and compliance with the contract documents and to take remedial action where appropriate.

  • Experience of writing and presenting reports summarising recent inspection visits to the contractor and key stakeholders.

  • An ability to monitor the performance of contractors and their supply chain on site and report any performance issues.

  • Understanding of NHBC technical requirements of schemes, including analysis of project drawings and contract documents.

  • Although this role is home based, there will be regular operational travel around the patch to manage your projects effectively therefore a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Join us and find your purpose at Platform!

After all, we want to attract the best people to work for us and we know that one size does not fit all.

Platform is a great place to work, we offer lots of opportunities for you to get involved, share ideas and shape what we do - from networking groups through to fun community and social events. This is an exciting time to join us, that will provide you with real exposure to the wider dynamics of a truly modern housing association that will play a major part in delivering our 5-year corporate strategy., We put colleagues and customers at the heart of all we do. Valuing difference, we are free to challenge each other and are open and honest in our relationships.
