Full Job Description

  • You'll be supporting surveillance and initial assessment audits by ensuring all quality aspects of the portfolio unit are audit ready, assisting the Quality Manager and collating evidence to close out finding and completion of UKAS paperwork.
  • Supporting your portfolio unit with implementing and maintaining the requirements of the FSR Code, ISO 17025, 17020 and ILAC G19
  • Carrying out internal quality-based audits for any forensic unit, reporting findings and ensuring timely effective corrective action implementation to the required standard.
  • Ensuring that any non-conforming work (NCR) highlighted within the portfolio units, is officially raised, investigated and appropriate action taken to the required standard by the units.
  • Producing performance reports at individual, unit, force, regional and national level as required by the portfolio held; collating and presenting the data in reports and charts for distribution as required.
  • Management of the QMS for your portfolio unit.

    Experience of working within an accredited Quality Management System.
  • Have a good eye for detail and are comfortable and confident in highlighting noncompliance.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to constantly changing working situations and workloads.
  • Can manage own workloads and experience of working to deadlines.
  • Have a can-do attitude and work well with others.
  • Have full driving licence and own transport.
  • Please be aware that due to the security checks required for this role you must have 5 years continuous residency in the UK.

    Salary: £35,526 - £42,897 For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
