Q&S provide the core functions of patient safety, risk management, patient experience, complaints, claims, clinical audit and improvement, safeguarding, non-medical prescribing, health and safety, document management and compliance.The Q&S Coordinator role sits within a team, who are key members of the Quality & Standards Directorate. The postholder will work closely with the Corporate Associate Chief Nurses to ensure the efficient running of the Directorate. This includes administration support for key meetings.This position would suit someone looking for varied working and who is able to adapt to changing priorities. The position offers a great opportunity to develop your career in the NHS, working closely with key staff in supporting processes to ensure the best experience to patients, staff and the organisation to ensure the division strives to improve the quality of services provided.

The post holder is responsible for the provision of administrative and secretarial support to the Quality & Standards Directorate and will be required to attend a number of Trust-wide meetings, produce agenda's, take minutes, produce action logs and post meeting reports. The post holder requires excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and be highly IT literate in Microsoft functions as well as diary management and general day to day office and team co-ordination skills.

The post holder will be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload within the team and must have the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Experience of working within a team and prior experience in the NHS would be highly desirable.
