Full Job Description

The role exists to lead the transformation of the Quality Operations at the site including leading the definition, development, deployment of quality projects in areas such as Quality Systems and Data, Quality Compliance, Validation, Quality control, Sterility Assurance, Operational Quality, Quality Culture, Communication, Governance and Finance processes. The role exists also to provide strategic and tactical support to the site in the development of new quality processes.,

  • Lead the implementation of key quality projects across site, aligned to the site Quality Improvement Programme.
  • Ensure the right resources and roles across the quality organisation to support the future operating model.
  • Work with the Site Quality Director to define quality processes and ensure quality oversight, efficient day to day operations and alignment with central Quality structure and organisation.
  • Ensure strong communication channels are in place, for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Site Quality Director defining the quality governance and monitoring through KPls at all levels of organisation and the implementation of performance management processes in Quality Operations in line with the GSK Production System.
  • Work with the aligned finance partner to ensure yearly Quality budget, robust financial review/monitoring process to keep budget aligned, cost efficiency initiatives across the whole quality organisation.

  • University Degree or equivalent, ideally in Science, Manufacturing, Quality, or Project Management.
  • Several years' experience in the pharma/biopharma industry, or other highly regulated environment.
  • Several years' experience in quality roles (e.g. Operational Quality, Quality Assurance).
  • Expertise in project/portfolio management, strategic and operational planning, resource planning and tracking, performance management.
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder management.
  • Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:
  • Post graduate qualification in STEM disciplines
  • Several years of experience in pharma/biopharma industry, manufacturing
  • Demonstrated experience of delivery of large, complex, cross-functional projects
  • Demonstrated experience of matrix leadership
