Full Job Description

  • As an in vitro pharmacology student, you will master the use of advanced laboratory technologies and equipment, including automation. This will empower you to generate high-quality data, enabling our project teams to make informed decisions and advance compound development.
  • You will be entrusted with the design and execution of a structured work plan, which will be consolidated into a written report and presentation for your university. This will provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your research and communication skills.
  • Take ownership of your own time, reagents and consumables to ensure efficient execution of your experiments and showcasing your excellent organizational skills.
  • Engage in our team learning environment by asking insightful questions and sharing your knowledge. This will help foster a culture of collaborative learning and continuous improvement.
  • Presenting your results and ideas in meetings, both verbally and through written communication, will enable you to contribute to our company's innovative culture.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining contemporary records of your experiments in an electronic notebook and adhering to our company's lab safety rules.

Are seeking a 12-month placement in their third or penultimate year of study, with plans to return to your degree course post-placement.
  • Are pursuing a relevant discipline such as Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biosciences, or similar.
  • Should demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills, ideally with a knowledge of basic scientific calculations.
  • Nice to have, but not essential:
  • Some experience with laboratory experimentation.
  • We value individuals who operate with high levels of integrity, transparency, and accountability.
  • You understand and align with our organization's core values, and appreciate the importance of fostering a culture of diversity and inclusivity.
