As a future Quantitative Researcher, you will report to Head of Research & Innovation EQI, and you will be part of AXA IM EQI. DISCOVER your opportunity Quantitative researchers are responsible the development of EQI investment models, investment process and overall investment outcomes of AXA IM quantitative equity (EQI) investment strategies. N.B. This is not an entry level or graduate position, we are looking for experienced quantitative researchers. Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake quantitative research with objective to improving of existing EQI investment models/signals.
  • Undertake quantitative research with objective to developing new quantitative investment models/signals including investigating new sources of data and techniques to analyses data
  • In collaboration with EQI PMs to ensure the impact model/signal enhancements at overall portfolio level outcomes are robustly tested.
  • Contribute to preparation of Investment committee material.
  • Contribute to development and enhancement of EQI research platform

    Advanced degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or another related field. PHD preferred. CFA Charter desirable
  • Strong knowledge of Quantitative Asset Management
  • Proven track record to design, implement and validate quantitative stock selection models.
  • Proven capacity to make informed, data driven, investment decisions in dynamic and uncertain market environments.
  • Your knowledge and skills:
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and quantitative modelling techniques.
  • Strong programming skills, especially in languages such as Python, SAS, Matlab or R.
  • Deep understanding of risk model methodologies.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Strong facilitation/negotiation skills
  • Effective communication of quant concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
