  • Provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion, working both as part of a team and individually.
  • Prepare cost plans, estimates, bills of quantities, tender documents, and supply chain payment assessment.
  • Provide construction phase contract Quantity Surveying services including change management, contractor payment applications, final accounts.
  • Prepare data and reports to timescales in a format required by line management and clients.
  • Work collaboratively with other service teams to provide an integrated approach to client delivery.
  • Develop client relationships and provide an outstanding level of service delivery on a project basis, in conjunction with senior management.

    A degree in quantity surveying and commercial management, equivalent discipline, or experience.
  • Previous experience managing subcontract packages from inception to final accounting.
  • Understanding of taking-off from working drawings, specifications, and walk-talk-build (WTB).
  • Must have working knowledge of NEC forms of contract (Especially Option B and A).
  • Must have working knowledge of the application of Schedule of Rates (SoR), and Method of Measurement (MoM).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and integrate into multi-disciplinary teams or work independently.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experienced in preparing cost estimate and comparison.
  • Independent working with minimum supervision.
