Join our Living Places team as a Quantity Surveyor on our Cambridge Streetlighting Framework where you'll deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be supporting other more senior members of the commercial team in delivering the varied commercial duties as well as being responsible for procuring and managing our supply chain. What you'll be doing As a Quantity Surveyor you will:

  • Measure, record & value work unsupervised in accordance with
  • appropriate rules and procedures
  • Measure & interpret specifications & drawings
  • Build up estimates from first principle including net and gross estimates
  • Translate measurement from drawings and Specifications and prepare
  • Bills of Quantities and Schedules of rates
  • Manage and Procurement Sub Contractors

    You will have the following:
  • BSc/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying
  • NEC/JCT experience
  • Civil Engineering Framework or relevant background would be beneficial
  • Experience of CVR, forecasting and final account experience.
