Our client is a growing well known main contractor based and working in London who specialise in solving complex construction challenges in the capital, delivering innovative projects that enrich urban environments through:

  • Job Role: Quantity Surveyor Location: London Salary Range: £55,000 - £75,000 Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive cost planning and commercial management for construction projects
  • Prepare detailed project cost estimates and budgets
  • Manage contract documentation and procurement processes
  • Perform financial risk assessments and value engineering
  • Develop and maintain cost reporting systems
  • Liaise with project teams, contractors, and clients
  • Ensure commercial compliance and contractual adherence
  • Support sustainable construction initiatives and carbon reduction strategies

    Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • RICS accreditation or working towards chartership
  • Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in construction quantity surveying
  • Proven track record in commercial management of complex urban construction projects
  • Advanced proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Technical Skills
  • Advanced financial modeling
  • Contractual knowledge (NEC, JCT contracts)
  • Detailed understanding of construction cost processes
  • Proficiency in project management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
