Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor, to join our busy and expanding infrastructure team, based out of our London office, supporting our clients deliver a range of rail projects and programmes across London and the south east.

At Turner & Townsend our Quantity Surveyors handle commissions of varying sizes, depending upon the complexity of the project. Typically, projects fall within the £5m to £10m range., It is strictly against Turner & Townsend policy for candidates to pay any fee in relation to our recruitment process. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

This role will suit individuals from a rail background with proven experience in post contract, heavy civils and stations works. Any other rail systems experience would also be an advantage.,

  • Degree qualified and MRICS

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Inquisitive and problem solving skill base

  • NEC contract knowledge and experience, particularly Option C

  • Demonstrable cost management experience

  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel

  • Proven experience preferably in a similar role

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi disciplined programme team environment
