Full Job Description

  • Independently measure, record, and value work, adhering to established rules and standards.
  • Interpret specifications and drawings to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop estimates from first principles, preparing net and gross estimates.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities and Schedules of Rates from measurements.
  • Review weekly, monthly, and sectional work schedules to ensure project alignment.
  • Plan commercial activities in line with project schedules.
  • Regularly track costs and values for accurate financial oversight.
  • Gather procurement information as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and stakeholders for successful project outcomes.

    What we are looking for:
  • Degree in a construction-related field.
  • Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction.
  • Proven ability to mentor and support junior QS team members.
  • Valid CSCS card and full UK driving license.
