Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Contract Surveyor to manage and procure the sub-contract packages, whilst gaining experience to take the next step in their career to a senior surveyor and becoming a key part of the Surveying teams for years to come. You will be familiar with JCT and have experience in managing and procuring various trade sub-contract packages. You will be required to assist within the Main Contract Valuation and the Monthly Cost reports.
- Analysis of tender allowances
- The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting interim valuations in accordance with those dates.
- Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions
- Subcontract and Design Procurement
- Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
- Assisting with Cost Value Reconciliations
- Preparation of cost to complete
- Cash management and maximisation
- Cash Flow and Turnover forecast
- Provision of standard reports

- You will have experience of working within the Construction industry for a main contractor, specifically on Design and Build; as well as sound knowledge of JCT Contract.
