R&D Analytical Chemist - Technical Support Laboratory You are invited to apply for the above reporting to Joanne Cumbo in Technical Support Laboratory The main function of the role is to support all areas of the business by providing timely and accurate solutions to analytical challenges. Responsibilities:

• Establishes timelines and resources needed with minimal changes and input from managers.
• Operates under limited supervision, such as planning own work but may require coaching and direction throughout projects
• Accountable for the planning and execution of projects and/or the solution of problems within moderate levels of complexity, from start to finish. Find innovative solutions to Analytical challenges
• Demonstrates ability to alter project scope or propose changes based on feedback.
• Demonstrates knowledge of various technologies.
• Ideally able to interact with customers and host meetings independently.
• Provides team support by encouraging collaboration and providing suggestions/resources to overcome obstacles.
• Effective project management of day to day tasks/requirements for Analytical requests
• Provide updates to key stakeholders against agreed project milestones.
• Generate customer facing reports
• Collaborate with Global Analytical Team
• Conduct testing of samples in order to characterise materials or diagnose factory or customer site issues
• Provide support to numerous stakeholders within the business
  
  BSc Chemistry or Equivalent Higher Education Qualification
• Knowledge of protective coatings ideal
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
