From supporting race-day tactics to helping develop cutting-edge strategy tools, you'll be at the heart of the action, helping us push performance boundaries and outsmart the competition. What You'll Do: The exact responsibilities may vary depending on your level of experience in F1 and Strategy roles, however, the objective is clear: to maximise the outcome of all race events by contributing to and delivering the best race strategy for both cars. Race Performance:

  • Provide clear, objective information to support our strategists and ensure accurate decision-making throughout events.
  • Assist with free practice, qualifying, and test session plans to help achieve team goals.
  • Help target zero avoidable sporting infringements, contributing to flawless race execution.
  • Strategy Group Support:

  • Support the development of new features and software, ensuring feedback loops drive continuous improvement.
  • Deliver post-event analysis and counterfactual reviews, fostering a culture of feed-forward learning.
  • Collaboration Across Departments:
  • Work closely with both the central Strategy group and wider business functions, sharing insights and analysis.
  • Optimise coordination between remote operations and the track.

A data-driven thinker with exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Someone who thrives under pressure and excels in high-performance environments.
  • A team player who embraces our culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
  • A degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, Mathematics or Physics.
  • F1, WEC, or other motorsport formula Strategy experience, be it trackside or factory-based.
  • A logical approach to research, problem solving and reporting.
  • Available to support all F1 race & testing events

At Williams Racing, you'll be part of a team that values excellence, creativity, and determination. This is your chance to make your mark in Formula 1, contributing to a legendary racing legacy while helping shape the future of race strategy.
