Full Job Description
As a Radiation Protection Consultant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will support our Seniors and drive technical solutions for various innovative projects whilst interfacing with a range of disciplines, stakeholders and clients. Joining our team at a time of growth, you will build networks across the business and externally, supporting your career progression and personal development.
Day-to-day, you'll act as the technical lead on Radiation Protection for projects, including supporting and mentoring junior staff supporting the project.
- Contributing to project scheduling, including definition of relevant deliverables, identification of dependencies and estimating resourcing, time, and cost requirements.
- Supporting radiological safety to ensure legislative compliance and adoption of industry best practice.
- Liaison with multi-disciplinary teams across design and operational projects and ensuring that procedures are correctly applied to technical activities.
- Supporting the coordination of radiological protection documentation such as Normal Dose Uptake Assessments, Radiological Zoning, Radiological Risk Assessments, ALARP Assessments, Operating Instructions and compliance statements.
- Proven experience in a radiation role, Degree in Maths, Science or a related field

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home. This role is adaptable and can be delivered from various locations in the UK alongside home working arrangements.
