Full Job Description
The Radiology Department in the Glan Clwyd Hospital is seeking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated individuals to the role of Radiographic Assistant within our X-Ray Department.
This role will involve a combination of administrative tasks and clerical tasks as well as elements of direct patient care.
Successful applications must have excellent caring attributes, be capable of working within a team and on their own and have good interpersonal skills and be able to show initiative.
There are a number of full time and part time roles available across daytimes, evenings and weekends.
Although this post will predominantly be based in the X-Ray Department of the Glan Clwyd Hospital, there may also be an opportunity to provide support to other areas of the Radiology Department as well as to Community sites within the Health Board.
If you are interested in this exciting opportunity in our constantly developing department, please get in touch., To assist the radiographers, radiologists and other members of the radiology multi disciplinary team by carrying out non-radiographic duties which include the care, preparation and management of patients presenting for radiological procedures, preparation of equipment, ordering of equipment via the online procurement system, reception and clerical duties and the processing of images as required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
