Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a Radiography Practice Educator who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. This is a truly exciting time to join our team as we recently launched our newly developed £10m Outpatients & Diagnostics Centre (CDC) that will deliver first-class diagnostic care to our community. The new centre has the ability to deliver joined up diagnostic care, and with increased capacity this will ensure our patients will have faster access to treatment, earlier diagnosis, and improved outcomes. By becoming part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in innovative ways and play a central role in how we improve patient pathways, delivering the right test, at the right time, in the right place. The successful applicant will:-

  • Be directly responsible for the delivery of high quality specialised imaging.
  • Support the facilitation of learning into practice across a multi-level workforce from education levels 2-7.
  • Support the department in areas of training and development.
  • Support training and development projects with regards to workforce in Imaging., To reliably produce work of the highest standard and be responsible for assessing and maintaining own standards while working under extreme pressure.
  • To manage your specific area within the Diagnostic Imaging department on a day-to-day basis, making use of staff, equipment and other resources to provide a service of the highest quality to patients, their carers and their referring clinicians.
  • To monitor and maintain standards of radiography to meet both local and national requirements where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate professional commitment; be smart, punctual and enthusiastic in the promotion of the profession in general and in specialist area of imaging in particular.
