Radiology Department Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiographic Assistant based in Sussex. This role is accountable for assisting the Radiographers and Doctors in performing imaging procedures including CT, MRI and Ultrasound examinations. In addition, this role always operates with a high degree of professionalism to ensure provision of a high quality, responsive and patient-focused service.,

• Supporting the clinical team to undertake a wide variety of CT, MRI and Ultrasound examinations.
• Carrying out patient preparation prior to and patient care following the examination and ensure that the patient leaves the department satisfied with the standard of care provided.
• Ensuring that patients fully understand and accurately complete the relevant safety questionnaire.
• Ensuring patient identification and safety checks are completed prior to every examination.
  
  Medical Imaging Partnerships and Prime Health deliver radiology services to both the NHS and private sector. This role doesnt require any previous experience of radiology as its focus is on delivering excellent customer service.
