Radiology Department Assistant (RDA)

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn is looking for hard working and enthusiastic individuals, to support the work of the Radiology Department; and to assist Radiologists and Radiographers in performing a range of Radiological procedures, including Ultrasound, X-ray examinations, Nuclear Medicine, MRI and CT.,

• To assist in all aspects of patient care within the Radiology
• To assist with housekeeping duties e., cleaning specialist equipment.
• To assist Radiology staff, this is very wide ranging, but may include: helping move patients, beds, trolleys. Helping radiographers to undertake radiographic procedures, assisting with moving and handling and helping to prepare patients for their examinations.
• Helping book/cancel patient appointments as circumstances require
• To collect and return patients to parts of the hospital if/as
• Hours are worked on a 7 day service model and this may include night shifts.
