Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Radiology Department Assistant, providing assistance to Radiographers whilst they undertake radiology images, supporting patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity., 1. Assist the Radiographer with cleaning and IPC (Infection Prevention and Control)
2. Attend to the needs of the patient, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
3. Ensure that the necessary documentation accompanies the patient.
4. Use of the Radiology Information System to record patient information.
5. Assist the Radiographer with the manual handling of patients.
6. To act as chaperone for some examinations.
