Radiology Systems Support Administrator | University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Working as an integral member of the PACS/RIS Team, having responsibility for daily working practices and assistance to junior members of the Team. Also, regular use of all Radiology Systems which include CRIS, ICE, PACS and IEP.

To provide assistance in relevant projects and improvement plans to final implementation The role will also involve the cascade of benefits from current and other developments throughout the Trust as part of the overall Radiology PACS/CRIS/ICE strategy.

To be a core member of the PACS Office. This will include liaison and support to all within Radiology as a whole, the Trust, and other key external contacts including patients. To be point of contact for Band 2 & 3 staff members and act as trainer and mentor for specific areas of their training and ongoing improvement. To provide support to the PACS Department which will include the Office Manager and other key senior members as required.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, a flexible team player and a desire to provide a first-class service for patients and clinical teams. You must be confident, diplomatic, and able to work in a busy environment with a pleasant disposition. You will need to have a flexible approach to a demanding workload and changing priorities., Administrative and organizational experience.
Experience of dealing with non-routine and complex problems.
Ability to communicate to all levels of personnel and patients.
Experience of working in a PACS Department (Radiology).
Office Experience.

Requirements.
Knowledge of relevant systems used within Radiology, to include PACS, CRIS, eCamis, eQuest, IEP etc.
Reliability - good time keeping.
Flexibility - able to work flexibly to accommodate peaks and troughs of activity.
Friendly and approachable manner.
Polite, sympathetic, patient and diplomatic.
