Full Job Description

This is a key position supporting on major railway projects and possibly some other transport projects that their transport team cover. As a Senior Planner you will provide expertise and leadership to some junior colleagues on the team, as well as supporting the Project Controls Management on reporting and updates.

  • You will be a highly experienced and proficient Primavera P6 Planner with significant experience on railway projects.
  • You experience will include railway systems projects such as signalling, p-way, structures, E&P and telecoms.
  • You will have supported on NEC and other contract forms.
  • As this is a Senior position, you will have supported and managed junior planners in your role also.
  • You will also have experience of risk and cost analysis also, as this role sits in a wider project controls position.

    ARM are working with a leading consultancy who are supporting railway clients such as HS2 and Network Rail and we are looking for an experienced Senior P6 Planner with rail experience to join them on a contract basis. Locations available are London, West Midlands, North West and South West England., This vacancy is being advertised by either Advanced Resource Managers Limited, Advanced Resource Managers IT Limited or Advanced Resource Managers Engineering Limited ("ARM").     We have options for the role to be based in any of the following: London, Birmingham, Manchester or Bristol. This will involve hybrid working with a mix of office and home working. The role is full-time with an expected 40 hours per week between Monday and Friday, with some flexibility on start and end times where possible. This is offered as an initial 6 month contract, but is likely to extend.
  • What you can expect in return: The rate for this position is between £59.63 - £62.38 per hour (Umbrella) inside IR35.
