Reactive Maintenance Electrician

Intend Electrical are seeking a skilled Reactive Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a qualified individual who is looking to grow their career within a reputable company and is comfortable working in commercial environments.

The successful candidates will have a sound understanding of electrical testing procedures and compliance requirements and will be confident performing tasks that may require bending, lifting, and working at heights. We also require excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Carry out electrical maintenance and reactive repairs in commercial buildings.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, including lighting, power, and distribution systems.

- Ensure maintenance of fire alarms and emergency lighting systems to high safety standards.

- Participate in a rotating out-of-hours call-out rota to respond to urgent maintenance issues.

Must hold a valid Gold Card (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

- Strong fault-finding skills with a proven track record in commercial electrical maintenance.

- Experience with fire alarms and emergency lighting maintenance.

- Full UK driving license

Package and Perks:

This role is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and will cover the midlands area. The position will work out of our newly refurbished office in Nottingham which offers free refreshments, fruit and parking.

The salary is from £34,000 per annum and is negotiable depending on experience. This is a permanent position, offering job stability, exciting training and development opportunities with company uniform and van. There will also be overtime opportunities available along with call-out payments.

The successful applicant will benefit from 28 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays) along with paid leave over an extended Christmas break!
