Full Job Description
Intend Electrical are looking for an experienced plumber to join their busy and growing team working out of their Nottingham office. The role will involve a variety of plumbing tasks including emergency repairs, routine maintenance and installation works for both domestic and commercial properties.
The ideal candidate will be happy to work on their own or as part of a small team. You will be expected to respond to call-outs, handle planned installations, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
The day to day duties include but are not limited to:
- Undertaking reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance in domestic and commercial properties.
- Carrying out installation works, including bathrooms, kitchens, heating systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues efficiently and effectively.
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism on every job.
- Participating in the call-out rota to provide emergency plumbing services outside of normal working hours.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience in domestic and commercial plumbing installations and reactive maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Valid CSCS card (desirable)
- Willingness to be part of an on-call rota for emergency call-outs.
The salary for this role is between £16-£18 per hour DOE. In addition to this, we also offer an on-call and overtime allowance. The position will be based at our newly refurbished office in Nottingham, with free drinks, fruit and refreshments.
