Full Job Description
Job title: Reading Mentor
Location: Sheffield Park Academy, Beaumont Road North, Sheffield, S2 1SN
Starting salary: £25,000 gross per annum pro rata (actual of £21,572)
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, 39 working weeks per academic year
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Start date: As soon as possible
We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual to the role of Reading Mentor at Sheffield Park Academy. The successful candidate will work within an established team to plan and deliver literacy interventions to identified cohorts of students across all year groups. Previous experience in a school environment (or similar) supporting young people is essential together with drive, commitment and a desire to help young people reach their potential.
This role requires a focussed individual who is organised and passionate about making a difference for our students, academy and the local community. This is a challenging yet highly rewarding role at a supportive and welcoming school.
