Reaxys Senior Product Manager

The Reaxys Product team needs a high performing, knowledgeable and experienced Product Manager who works on the cross section of Machine Learning and Chemistry data within drug discovery. The Product Manager will be a vital player for the future success of Reaxys. This person is expected to be a strategic, hands-on leader with the ability to create robust SaaS based and data intensive products needed by a new generation of customers while still servicing existing stakeholders.

About the Role

We seek a Product Manager who will leverage market research and proactively engage with industry segments and new customer.

Responsibilities

• Driving predictive retrosynthesis solution product strategy and vision, including formulation and validation of roadmap requirements and feature delivery


• Partnering and work closely with the Reaxys Technology and Engineering team for product lifecycle management


• Interacting with customers and industry experts, and collaborate closely with Elsevier's cross-functional teams to develop the requirements, roadmap, design and execute go-to-market strategies


• Developing go-to-market plans, including sales enablement, product launches, website presence, social media, product demos, webinars, case studies, usage activation, and win-loss analysis


• Listening to customers (internal and external) to identify, plan and develop new products e.g. work with external partner(s) to enhance predictive retrosynthesis solution by addressing key customer needs in a timely fashion


• Leveraging chemistry and medicinal chemistry data for the development of other reaction-based predictors and ADMET predictors
  
  Do you have experience working with SaaS product's or information Solutions?, Experience as a Product Manager for SaaS products or Information Solutions creating products with subscription models


• Experience of working with pharmaceutical and chemical companies as well as academia


• Possess a Master's in Synthetic Organic Chemistry


• Have a proven track record of success with product strategy, road map development, product rollouts/Go-to-market strategies (incl. pricing, packaging and positioning) and living the "What customers want" philosophy
