Full Job Description

+ Movement of goods from R&D to wards / depts as required
+ Assist with the movement of PPE to wards / depts as required
+ Ability to prioritize workloads to meet the needs of the service and service users
+ Maintain work areas in clean and tidy manner
+ Carry out tasks as per risk assessments
+ Liaise with suppliers, regarding deliveries
+ Record all deliveries received in appropriate manner
+ Must have good basic IT skills MS Office suite and be prepared to learn other IT software packages as required.
+ Exposure to dust, dirt, ward smells, inclement weather.
+ Transportation and storage of contained hazardous substances.
+ Record any goods for return to suppliers
+ Maintain medical form stocks at preset stock levels, + Good IT skills
+ Have good verbal communication skills
+ Responsibilities for human resources
+ Explains own job to new or junior staff.
+ May allocate work to junior team members and monitor progress.
+ Responsibility for financial resources
+ Maintains stock items at agreed levels
+ Responsible for security of goods during receipting, delivery and/or put away process/on site buyer for nonstock goods/services.
+ Escalate any losses to supervisor as soon as possible.
+ Stores receipting/returns/materials management data on computerized systems, files data.
Research
+ Comments on changes to policies in own sphere of work
+ Participates in formal audits of own areas
Teaching
+ Undertake all trust mandatory training
+ Undertake any role specific training as stipulated in job description
+ Actively take part in trust PDR review process
