  • Silver Hotel in the centre of Norwich, has a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Reception Manager to join the team.


  • As Reception Manager you will have a warm, friendly and professional manner, be impeccably presented and be a clear, thorough communicator with an eye for detail.

    The main responsibilities of the Reception Manager include:

    - Taking ownership for the service standards of the Reception team, to ensure total guest satisfaction and 4 star standards are delivered consistently.

    - Ensuring all legal and company standards are being met. - Training and developing staff to work to the highest of standards at all times.

    - Efficient creation of rotas to budget.

    - Attendance at weekly Operations meeting.

    As the successful Reception manager you will need:

    - A strong background in a 4
  • hotel reception or similar.


  • - The ability to remain calm under pressure. You will have the responsibility for supervision, direction and co-ordination of the hotel reception.

    - To work with the Sales and Reservations teams to maximise sales and delivery.

    - To be highly organised with a keen eye for detail.

    - To undertake Duty Manager shifts, with decision making responsibility for the whole hotel.

    You will ensure that your Reception team work to the highest of standards, with a passion for the delivery of good customer service.

    The role offers a salary of £28,000 - £29,500 depending on experience, excellent development and training, discounted food and room rates and much more.

    As an 24/7 operational hotel, shift patterns will be a mixture of early and late shifts, working 5 days out of 7, including some weekends.
