Full Job Description
To provide direct line management support and supervision of the receptionists and administration teams in the appointed areas, ensuring strict compliance with Health Board Policies and procedures. The post holder will manage the day to day supervision of the administrative team, consisting of 24 Administration Officers (Band 3) within the Emergency Care Centre. Staff are based on reception desks in Majors, Minors and CDU within both Prince Charles Hospital and the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The post holder will provide training to new, existing and less experienced staff on procedures and policies. The post holder will facilitate and lead the implementation of ideas for service improvement within the remit of the role.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join the Emergency Department at Prince Charles Hospital. The post holder will support the operational management team in management and co-ordination of the Emergency Department Reception functions, including line management to reception the team and the reception team rota. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced team leader or someone with NHS administration experience wishing to progress into their first staff management post.
