Receptionist

This role works across all reception duties. Not only will the post holder work as an efficient and effective receptionist but will proactively identify and work with people, including the frail/elderly and those with long-term conditions, to provide coordination and navigation of care and support across health and care services., The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by members of the practice administration team may include any or all of the items in the following list. Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the practice management, dependent on current and evolving practice workload and staffing levels.

Hampton Medical Centre sits at the very heart of the new township for Peterborough. The Hamptons are a series of villages sitting less than 4 miles from Peterborough City centre, Cambridgeshire. With 6 villages delivered to date and developments ongoing for Hampton Woods and Hampton Beach.

The practice size is around 12,000 patients, working from a dedicated surgery based within Serpentine Green shopping centre. There are 2 GP partners, 4 GP`s, various nurse practitioners, pharmacy, social prescribers, care coordinators and administration staff. Hampton Medical Centre is a teaching practice, hosting medical students and GP registrar candidates.
