Full Job Description

The Receptionist for Outpatients reports to the Outpatients Team Leader. The post-holder has the following responsibilities: The job description includes a comprehensive list of duties including; o Welcome patients and visitors into the department, ensuring they are made to feel comfortable and are treated with kindness, respect and dignityo Provide a high quality, comprehensive range of administrative and reception duties.o Deliver an excellent patient and user experience, by meeting and greeting patients, visitors and colleagues, registering patients and booking appointments in a timely and efficient manner.o Work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth running of the department. The successful candidate will be joining a busy and fast paced outpatient department and will have the opportunity to work with a range of clinical staff from several areas within Gynaecology including but not limited to: o Early Pregnancy Unito 2WWo General Gynaecologyo Complex Mesho Urogynaecologyo Endometriosiso RMUo Ultrasound scanning

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and be patient focused.
