Full Job Description

Our admin colleagues, run an efficient service for our clients, and we currently have a vacancy for a Receptionist to join our busy team at Being the first face, many will see, you'll be a role model, when it comes to what great customer service will look like. You'll have polite and cheerful mannerisms, always creating a memorable experience for our customers and visitors!,

  • To assist with administration relating to matchdays, including menus, drinks lists, signage, training material and all other collateral.
  • To provide a warm, friendly and knowledgeable customer service to all visitors.
  • Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls to the relevant department.
  • Communicate thoroughly and efficiently with all departments on site, both NUFC and Sodexo.
  • Effectively handle all internal and external calls in a polite manner, ensuring all messages are communicated immediately, where possible, or as soon as possible thereafter.
  • Ensure reception desk is always clean, tidy and presentable and that all current Meetings & Events marketing material is displayed where possible.
  • Ensure list of business is completed daily for the following day.
  • Handle, collate and take payment for all internal bookings as well as bookings for any other special event as and when required to do so.
  • Ensure all Sales Office post is completed on a daily basis.
  • To collate stationary orders, and ensure these are placed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all relevant departments are informed of the arrival of guests such as interviewees for HR and Meetings & Events host and delegates for the Duty Manager.
  • Accept all postal and courier deliveries and collections, ensuring are items are stored securely and the relevant personnel are advised of their arrival.
  • Ensure all relevant departments are notified of the arrival of any delivery vehicles advised which loading area they have been sent to.
  • To work matchdays and events where required.
  • Any other reasonable request.

    You'll be super organised and create an excellent customer experience for everyone.
  • We want you to bring your friendly, flexible approach and your great reliability with you, when you join us. Don't forget your exceptional attention to detail, and great communication skills too! Previous experience in a customer facing role would be ideal, but if you have great people and IT skills, we'd still love to hear from you!, Essential:
  • Confident and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Polite and professional telephone manner.
  • Previous experience in a front of house role.
  • Previous experience in administration.
  • Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work well under pressure.
  • Adaptable to change and flexible in approach to work.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience of working in stadia or sports and leisure
