Receptionist

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.

• Welcomes guests as soon as they arrive with care and attention, with a personalised approach.
• Is proactive, anticipates guests' needs, and looks for a suitable solution.
• Competent in taking Reservations, and upselling where possible to maximize the average room rate.
• Audits room rates, and charges, reconciles and balances revenues generated as per day audit checklist.
  
  We are looking for someone with great attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and creating a wow factor through perfect customer service for every guest.
You ideally are a hospitality professional who has worked in a customer-facing role, has a positive can-do attitude, and works well in a team. Experience in ONQ is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work morning, afternoon/evening, and weekends This is a hands-on role, and the successful applicant must be able to effectively liaise with other departments, answer guest inquiries in a timely and courteous manner, use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, and demonstrate knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area.
