Full Job Description
Due to exceptional business growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team. If you enjoy providing great customer service and are looking for a new challenge in a busy practice, we have just the opportunity for you.,
- Greeting and interacting face-to face with clients and their pets. You will provide exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
- Managing the day-to-day running of the waiting room: phone communications, managing the mailbox, payments and daily financial summaries, taking pride in the appearance and upkeep of the waiting room, supporting the clinical team in the running of the day.
- Working alongside the clinical team providing support to the fantastic vets and nurses we have here.
- You will be using computer booking system and making future bookings confidently with clients.
Previous Veterinary Receptionist experience is not essential, as full training will be provided - Compassionate and sociable: able to form relationships with clients and their pets.
- Excellent organisation skills: You will be able to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment and are adaptable and quick-thinking.
- Great IT skills.
- Professionalism and empathetic: You will be able to adapt to life and end of life situations arising within the working environment.
- Great attention to detail: You will bring enthusiasm and drive to your role.
- A genuine love of animals and the pet-owner bond.
- Fantastic client customer service skills
- You are calm, attentive, and always focus on the client's needs.
Leeds Colton Vets for Pets has been open for 6 years. The clinical team consists of 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 6 Student Veterinary Nurses. We have 4 fabulous Veterinary Receptionists, who are at the forefront of the practice and provide an excellent service to all our clients. - 40 hours per week. We know work/life balance is important and can be flexible with work patterns.
