Full Job Description

Receptionist Scale 4: (£27,855 - £29,139) 36 hours x 52 weeks per annum (flexible working requests could be considered) The post holder will be responsible for the efficient and smooth running of the reception area. This includes dealing with telephone and all other enquiries effectively and in line with the key values of the school. The successful candidate for the post would ideally have:

  • Relevant qualification to support the role: a role related Level 3 qualification is desirable
  • Expert level IT and a/v skills including proficiency in a range of IT programmes and equipment use that are required for this role; knowledge of MIS systems is desirable, particularly SIMS
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct others or respond appropriately to others even in pressurised situations
  • Previous experience of reception and administration work
