Full Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic receptionist to join team.
You will need to have the ability to remain calm under pressure whilst providing outstanding customer service to our patient population, work as part of a team to ensure we continue to deliver an efficient service.
You will support and ensure the effective seamless flow of patients through the UTC, by registering patients onto SystmOne on their arrival.
You will alert the clinician-in-charge of any patients whose presenting complaint requires immediate clinical assessment.
You will be the 'front of house' face of the UTC's, alerting the clinician-in-charge to any immediate concerns raised by patients in the waiting room.
You will need to demonstrate an awareness of Safeguarding adults & children.
You will need to understand and observe appropriate standards of confidentiality.
At all times to behave and act in a way appropriate to and in accordance with "The DCHS Way".
Post available at both Ilkeston and Ripley Urgent Treatment Centres, + To ensure patients are registered on the UTC module of SystmOne in a timely manner on arrival to the UTC.
+ To promptly report all observed changes in patients' conditions, accidents, incidents, and other important information to Clinician in Charge as soon as possible.
+ To assist qualified staff in maintaining the safety and wellbeing of staff, patients, and visitors in accordance with the health and safety policy.
+ To maintain a high standard of personal behaviour and maintain professional relationships with patients, their families, and staff team members.
+ To complete documentation as appropriate and directed by the Clinician in Charge.
+ Collate information for clinical audits.
+ Organises delegated work effectively.
+ To be an effective team member, always working to achieve team goals and participate within the clinical supervision.
Undertake any tasks within your capability as allocated by the /UTC Manager/Clinician in Charge/Registered
