Full Job Description

Our 'Sandwell Deal', brings together our new improved offering that make Sandwell Children's Trust a great place to work; it also sets out our expectations of you as a member of staff., Be working as part of a team to provide first line contact with our Children, Young People and other visitors to the building. Answering incoming telephone calls, directing callers to the appropriate departments, and taking accurate messages. The role will also involve room bookings, handling incoming and outgoing mail, managing shared mailboxes and you will be responsible for Premise Management duties and supporting with the maintenance and Health & Safety aspects of the building.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding individual with excellent communication skills both face to face and over the telephone. You must be able to deal with people sensitively and professionally at all times, with the Customer's best interests your priority, taking responsibility, where possible, to resolve queries and requests., You must be able to work in a challenging environment and remain calm under pressure.,

  • Previous experience of working in a busy office.
  • You need to be IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Have good communication skills, both written and verbal and excellent telephone skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Have the ability to prioritise workloads and competing priorities.
  • Be able to work independently using your own initiative.
  • A basic DBS check will be required for this role.
  • GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.
