We are looking for someone who would be proud to work as part of the AMU team. AMU is part of the emergency service running 3 wards side by side as well as offering a same day emergency care clinic service which receives internal and external referrals for patients to be seen, assessed, have investigations, and discharged within the same day to assist with admission avoidance. The ward receptionist is a key role on AMU providing cover throughout a 24-hour period, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. What AMU offers?

You will work alongside our receptionists, nurses, and other allied professionals. This role will include meeting and greeting patients and relatives as the first point of contact. Providing telephone coverage, admitting patients using the relevant computer systems and update as necessary for the duration of the patients stay whilst on AMU, and other general receptionist duties.
