Full Job Description

The Andover Community Mental Health Team is looking to recruit a Receptionist/Administrator to join our friendly team.

Applications are invited for the above position working in a supportive and busy community mental health team. The post holder must have experience of working within a clerical, reception environment and have excellent telephone manner and communication skills, including good organisational skills. You will need to have a warm and professional manner as you will be the first point of contact for people who access our service. The successful candidate will be working as part of a team and therefore being a team player is essential. You will need to have good IT skills and you should have the ability to work under pressure, work independently, and as part of the team. You will need to be flexible and responsive to meet the needs of the service.

We will provide excellent training and a full induction process and you will have regular support and supervision from the Administration Manager., To provide a comprehensive reception service to all visitors and callers into Junction Road, in a professional and supportive manner.

The final combination of Southern Health and Solent NHS Trust services is expected in late 2024, when our new organisation, to be known as Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, will be formed.

Our new Trust will continue to cater to the unique needs of different communities, making healthcare across the county more accessible, as well as offering staff more opportunities for career development, training and partnership working.
