Outpatients are seeking an enthusiastic receptionist/administration officer to help maintain the efficient administration in their departments at our Sutton Site. This post is vital to the smooth running of the main outpatient clinics. You will work in a busy environment, providing a reception service for patients and relatives. The role also includes preparing medical records for the consultant's clinics. As a member of a mulit-disciplinary team, you should possess excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and organisational skills. Keyboard/IT skills are essential and hospital experience is desirable.
further information please contact Tracey Lover on ., To undertake in a range of clerical, administration and reception duties within the Outpatient department in a sensitive and polite manner whilst providing a comprehensive & efficient clerical service to patients and clinical staff within the trust., To prepare and attend the Royal Marsden Outreach Urology Clinic held in Croydon University Hospital, Croydon. To arrange any investigations and appointments for patients receiving follow-up care at RMH.
To take responsibility in booking appointments through the Connect system for clinics within the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and any other outside hospital when requested.
Rearrange appointments at the request of patients or medical staff and to inform patients verbally or by letter.
To Assist patients who present in person at the reception desk with outpatient queries, making any necessary arrangements requested, changing patients registration details.
