Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Receptionist to support the Axess Sexual Health service in Liverpool. The service currently works across 3 sites:

  • Royal Liverpool Hospital
  • The Beat, Liverpool City Centre
  • South Liverpool Treatment Centre, Garston and,
  • Aintree Hospital, in the near future
  • The clinics in the Royal Liverpool Hospital and The Beat will be integrating and moving to a new city centre location in the next 12 months and a new clinic will be opening on the Aintree Hospital campus. Specialist clinics targeting young people, Trans people and those affected by drug and alcohol use are also being developed alongside a new clinical outreach service. This is a very exciting time for sexual health services in Liverpool with a number of innovations to be implemented alongside these developments with the aim of providing world class services. Our ideal candidate will have experience of using Electronic Patient Record Systems, supporting basic patient triage and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be working across the city centre and Garston sites. Clinics are open Monday - Saturday up to 7pm at night so you will be working a combination of 08:30 - 16:30 and 11:00 - 19:00 shifts according to the needs of the service., Our ideal candidate will have experience of using Electronic Patient Record Systems, supporting basic patient triage and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be working across the city centre and Garston sites. Clinics are open Monday - Saturday up to 7pm at night so you will be working a combination of 08:30 - 16:30 and 11:00 - 19:00 shifts according to the needs of the service., The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

    Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
