Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a receptionist to join our friendly administration team based at our Older Persons Mental Health inpatient unit at The Limes in Portsmouth. This is a part time role of 19 hours per week to be worked at the following times:

  • Wednesdays 1230-1630
  • Thursdays 0830-1630
  • Fridays 0830-1630
  • You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work flexibly, multitask and prioritise your work throughout the day, as well as enjoy a varied workload. You will thrive on supporting your staff to work effectively and efficiently at all times and drive development within the admin and clinical teams. You will be comfortable working alone without direct supervision and will have a good knowledge of Microsoft Applications and knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage though full training will be given. Our Mental Health Team provide care to Portsmouth patients both in our Inpatient setting and our Community Teams based at St Mary's. Apprenticeship options are available and will be discussed with the successful candidate., Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Inpatient Wards to include various teams within the units working alongside the Team Secretary Greet all patients, staff, and visitors at the front desk, maintaining the reception area along with consulting and meeting rooms within the buildings. Answering calls and dealing with emails relating to the Mental Health Inpatient and Community Services provided by HIOWH NHS Trust Effectively prioritise and manage own workload whilst maintaining confidentiality and diplomacy both independently and as part of a team. Carry out other duties as necessary to meet the changing needs of the service, in accordance with management of requirements and appropriate to banding. All duties will be carried out within the Trust's Information Governance, recording, and data sharing procedures and guidance.

    £23,615 a year Please note, for part time hours the salary will be pro rata.
