Full Job Description
The role is for 37 hours per week (8am-4pm, Monday to Friday), term time only and will be working alongside our current Receptionist.
The candidate must be highly organised, a good team player, proactive, have excellent communication and ICT skills with a high standard of literacy and clear, concise hand writing. In addition the candidate must also have a high regard for confidentiality, be reliable, have experience with a good understanding of Microsoft office packages, good typing skills and be confident working with a wide range of professionals., To provide a friendly, efficient and organised reception service for the school.
Principle accountabilities:
+ Take all calls and ensure all messages are forwarded onto the relevant person either by phone or email
+ Liaise with the NHS Immunisation Team to arrange pupil vaccinations in school
+ Use Arbor to send messages and updates to parents
+ Update and display School Information leaflets
+ Ensure pupil removal/arrival register is completed
+ Ensure all visitors sign in and out
+ Ensure relevant checks are in place as part of our safeguarding policy
+ Log new parent tour enquiries for Principals PA
+ Central point of contact for evacuation procedure
+ Assisting staff with photocopying and laminating
+ Assist with Parents Evening
+ Track late arrival of taxi's and log information
+ Provide a friendly and welcoming environment into FAW
+ Distribute all internal post
+ Open and date stamp post on a daily basis ready for distribution
+ Log and frank all outgoing post by 3.45pm
+ Take staff lunch orders by 9.15am
+ Update school diary
+ File Attendance and cover sheets, going out forms, signing in sheets and registers
+ Sign out minibus keys and fuel cards as required
+ Assist with school unform deliveries to be sent home with pupils
+ Provide monthly transport budgeting information for the attendance of pupils who are claiming PTB
+ Maintain and update school safeguarding folder with revised policies and documents
+ Supervise doors as and when required to safeguard pupils
+ Support with attendance administration in the absence of the Attendance Officer
