Full Job Description

As our front of house Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and residents. You will provide a warm Westgate welcome and be the friendly face our visitors see on arrival at the care home.   • Provide a warm and professional welcome to residents, families and visitors
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately
  • Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the care home's services
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, tours and meetings
  • Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as mail sorting and data entry
  • Liaise with staff across all departments to ensure smooth daily operations of the home
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or unusual situations

    Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally in a luxury care home setting
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • A polished and professional demeanour
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach
  • Empathy and understanding when engaging with elderly residents and their families
